Am I evil?

I recorded this show a few days ago but am just getting a chance to post it now. Sorry!

In this episode I wonder if I'm evil - based mostly on some of the imagery around my show that was pointed out by a friend. I also talk about an interesting dinner I had recently and some doubts about my position with the Colorado Stonewall Democrats.

  • You think using the position would be selfish? Bah, you should go ahead and be selfish. Your appointment to the board was purely because of what they believed they could use you for.

If you as a person are treated as a means to an end, are you not morally justified in using your position as a means towards your ends? If you leave, it wouldn't serve the board either because they'll just put someone who sucks in your place.

I'm not saying you need to stay on the board of the stonewall democrats. I'm saying that if you leave, it should be because you're sick of jerks and NOT because of some kind of guilt over having power.
