Hierarchy

In this entry I do the usual updates on what's been happening in my life, talk a little bit about why this blog/site/podcast is named the pramatic heretic, and finally talk about hierarchies in the trans community and why they suck. As part of the discussion on hierarchy, I talk a little bit about a disturbing new trend amongst some members of the trans community to separate themselves from the term "transsexual" by inventing a new "disease" called Harry Benjamin Syndrome.

New blog engine

Due to some issues I was having with my previous blog software, I've switched all of my stuff over to Blogger. I'm hoping it works better and is a little more user-friendly...let me know if you have any problems or you see anything missing.

Job search

This entry was actually recorded a month and a half ago before I went out to California for Susan's wedding. I didn't realize I'd never posted it but figured better late than never. :)

In this episode, I have yet another new intro song from a band I played with a few times and actually sang a song with on stage back in the "old days" when I was doing the macho rock star thing. Most of the episode deals with starting my job search in earnest and what that's been like since going full time.

I also talk about how incredibly awesome my parents continue to be with my transition and something very special they offered to help me out with.
