International Women's Day

Hi everyone! This is just a quick note to let you all know that I'm still alive and that I haven't forgotten about my site. :)

A couple of quick notes:

- I have moved and now have a new address/home phone. Please contact me directly for the new info if I haven't already sent it to you.

- I'm still with the Colorado Stonewall Democrats, despite my last podcast. I talked with the rest of the board about my concerns with the ways things were being done and about some personal challenges to being as involved as I'd like and we worked out an accommodation that I think will work.

- Yesterday was International Women's Day! Click on the link to learn about the long (100 year) history of this day and how it has evolved over the years.

- Julia Serano has posted her long-awaited response to Alice Dreger's "The controversy surrounding The Man Who Would Be Queen..." (J. Michael Bailey's book). She has also posted a companion podcast to the response that, although long, is well worth the time to listen to. (H/t to my friend Karen in Austin)

I haven't setup all of my podcasting gear since moving so it might still be a week or so before I have another episode up. I am going to make a concerted effort to record one this week so stay tuned!
